Personal Statement
I have been working as a technology instructor in San Francisco Bay Area high schools since 2001. During an interview for a position in the English department, school administrators had a look at my personal ePortfolio, and urged me to take a position as a technology instructor. What started as a trial run teaching computer applications (the Microsoft Office Suite) blossomed into teaching animation and web design, and ultimately a position as Business Department Chair. Along the way I acquired a California single subject business credential, CLAD certification, and Carreeer Technical Education credentials in computer applications and supervision and coordination.
